Detoxification IV

Detox has become the big buzzword in dieting as we realise the impact of toxicity on the body and its ability to function effectively.

Detoxification is a natural physiological process through which the body eliminates or neutralises harmful substances, also known as toxins. These toxins can be ingested through the food we eat, the air we breathe, or even through the products we use.

In the context of IV vitamins for detox, the goal is to support and enhance the body’s natural detox processes by providing essential nutrients directly into the bloodstream. Managing how your body detoxes can be a crucial factor in whether you reach your goal weight and how quickly you get there. To keep toxins away from your vital organs, the body will store them in your fat cells which makes them harder to lose.

What is the detoxification IV Drip good for?

Our detox drip is ideal for those who are frequently exposed to toxins and would like to take action to protect and improve their health.

Examples of exposure to toxins can include:

  • Air pollution from living in a city
  • Being exposed to environmental toxins (pollution, mould, asbestos, lead, heavy metals)
  • Eating out often and consuming large volumes of processed, pesticide-rich foods
  • Drinking alcohol often
  • Everyday inhalants like perfumes and air fresheners
  • People who have mercury or amalgam fillings (mercury is highly toxic and fillings or the removal of them can leach mercury into the mouth, causing health issues)
  • Orthopaedic surgery (where metal has been implanted into the body)

A buildup of heavy metals and toxins can lead to oxidative stress which affects the cells in the body. This can impact the detoxification function of the liver, kidneys and skin.

We often see patients who have very general symptoms, for example feeling tired and generally unwell or not feeling 100%. But you may also notice some of these symptoms:

Benefits of the detoxification IV Drip

When detoxification gets going, frequently patients feel worse before they feel better. Although this doesn’t sound good, it’s actually great news because it means the body has mobilised the toxins from fatty tissues so they can be excreted via urine. (You can read about the vitamin hangover here). But after what might be an initial dip, our detox IV drip can create:

  • More efficient removal of toxins from the body
  • Improved liver, kidney and skin health
  • Improved protection against free radicals and oxidative stress
  • Better energy levels

Nutrients:

  • Vitamin B1
  • Vitamin B12
  • B – Complex
  • Glutathione
  • Magnesium
  • Vitamin C
  • L-Ornityne
  • CoEnzyme Blend

Antioxidants IV

Antioxidants have become the ‘buzzword’ in both the beauty world and medical circles as we understand more about their powerful abilities, from fighting disease to acting as the antidote to ageing. Oxidation releases free radicals, damaging the body in many ways, and it can be exacerbated by stress, pollution, alcohol consumption, smoking and bad diet.

As well as accelerating the ageing process, free radicals are suspected in the development of serious health conditions. Antioxidants are the body’s natural defence against the damage caused by free radicals and our drip aims to boost your levels of these essential vitamins and minerals.

Key ingredients in our drips are the potent antioxidants Alpha-Lipoid Acid, Vitamin C and the mineral selenium. Vitamin C has been found to play an effective role in preventing cells and their DNA from damage and mutation. A deficiency in the trace mineral selenium has been found to increase the risk of developing various health concerns.

Nutrients:

Zinc – it protects against oxidation of the sulfhydryl group of proteins and regulates the activity of metallothioneins that remove oxidants. In addition, it works in synergy with other previously mentioned ingredients, e.g. vitamin E, which protects against oxidation of cell membranes.

Alpha Lipoic Acid – is an organic compound and a very powerful antioxidant found in every single cell within our body. To read more about ALA, click here.

Vitamin C – Known for its powerful antioxidant properties, vitamin C helps boost immune function and protects against oxidative stress. It promotes the production of white blood cells, which are essential for fighting off infections. To read more about VITAMIN C. click here.

Glutathione is a powerful antioxidant found in every cell in the body. Known as the ‘master antioxidant’, Glutathione breaks down free radicals and assists in cell regeneration. Reduces inflammation and increases immunity. To read more about Glutathione, click here.

Ubichinon – It protects our cells against damage caused by free radicals, and also regenerates another antioxidant, tocopherol (vitamin E), and allows it to continue working.

Selen – can slow down the body’s aging processes. It protects cells and their components (cell membranes, mitochondrial membranes and DNA) against the negative effects of free radicals.

Mental Health/Brian Mood IV

In recent years, the mental health field has expanded its horizons, exploring innovative approaches to support emotional well-being. One such emerging therapy gaining attention is IV infusion drip therapy.

Originally used primarily for medical purposes, intravenous infusion treatments have been shown to benefit mental health. This therapy is believed to offer a holistic and practical approach to supporting mental health by providing vital nutrients and mood-boosting compounds directly into the bloodstream.

Essential nutrients such as vitamin B complex, magnesium, and amino acids play crucial roles in neurotransmitter synthesis and regulation. By optimizing nutrient levels, IV infusion therapy can give the brain the building blocks to produce and balance neurotransmitters, thus supporting a more stable and positive mood.

Stress Reduction

Chronic stress is a significant contributor to mental health disorders. IV infusion drip therapy offers stress reduction benefits through various mechanisms. Magnesium, for instance, has been shown to promote relaxation and reduce anxiety.

Vitamin C, an antioxidant, helps combat oxidative stress and supports adrenal function. Furthermore, IV infusion therapy often includes compounds such as glutathione, a powerful detoxifier, which aids in flushing out harmful toxins that contribute to stress and inflammation.

Improved sleep quality

Quality sleep is vital for mental health. IV infusion therapy can include nutrients like magnesium and amino acids that support healthy sleep patterns.

Magnesium aids in relaxing the body and mind. At the same time, amino acids key neurotransmitters in sleep regulation. IV infusion therapy can positively impact mood, cognition, and overall mental wellness by optimizing sleep quality.

Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) IV

Alpha lipoic acid (ALA) is an organic compound and a very powerful antioxidant found in every single cell within our body.

Antioxidants have a very important role to play in keeping us healthy as they attack the ‘free radicals’, otherwise known as waste products which are created when our body turns food into energy in a chemical reaction called oxidation. These free radicals cause harm to our body by damaging cells, tissues and organs which makes it harder for us to fight off infections.

Super Antioxidant

ALA is a powerful antioxidant which stands out from the crowd thanks to it being both fat–soluble and water–soluble.

Water-soluble vitamins such as Vitamin C and fat–soluble vitamins such as Vitamin E have limited access to the body’s tissues. However, as ALA is soluble in both water and fat, it can access and get to work throughout the entire body.

As if that’s not enough, it’s thought that ALA may help regenerate other antioxidants and allow them to become active in fighting free radicals for longer.

Tackling Oxidative Stress

When the body’s cells are flooded by an excess of free radicals, it can lead to a state known as oxidative stress. This is not good news for the body as it can damage cells, disrupt DNA and cause inflammation in the body.

Not only can this accelerate the ageing process, but it can also lead to more serious conditions such as diabetes or even cancer.

As a powerful antioxidant in its own right and with the ability to help maximise the action of other antioxidants such as Vitamin C, Vitamin E and beta-carotene. ALA plays a vital role in helping the body combat free radicals and therefore limits the risk of oxidative stress.

What is ALA good for?

The powerful antioxidant properties can reduce inflammation and ageing of our skin.

In one study, scientists discovered that the application of a cream containing ALA to facial skin reduced fine lines, wrinkles and rough skin with no side effects.

By working with other antioxidants in our body such as glutathione, ALA helps to reduce the visible signs of skin ageing. It also offers antioxidant protection against the sun’s harmful UV radiation but it’s important to remember that we also need to protect our skin with sunscreen.

Managing blood suagr levels

Another key role of ALA is to assist in turning glucose into energy.  It also helps to fight diabetes, a disease which affects more than 400 million adults worldwide.

ALA helps by:

  • Reducing insulin resistance. Studies in adults with metabolic syndrome have suggested that ALA has a notable effect on insulin resistance.
  • Improving blood sugar control. These studies also revealed that it may lower fasting blood glucose levels.  In animal studies, ALA has lowered blood sugar levels by up to 64%.  Scientists believe that ALA works in this way by removing fat which has accumulated in muscle cells.

Whilst ALA has been shown to aid blood sugar control, it is not considered to be a complete treatment for diabetes.  It is always important to consult with your doctor as it is possible that it may interact with other medications you are taking.
  • Lowering the risk of diabetic retinopathy

Additional alpha lipolic acid benefits

In addition to the above, ALA also promotes healthy nerve function, eases symptoms of nerve damage and lowers the risk factors associated with heart disease.

One study of 73 people with cardiac autonomic neuropathy, which affects the heart, saw a report of far fewer signs of the condition by those people taking 800mg of ALA orally compared to the placebo group.

Studies are also ongoing to see if ALA can help protect the brain and nerve tissue. It is undergoing research to see if it can be used in treatment for stroke and other brain problems, such as dementia, involving free radical damage.

Finally, preliminary studies suggest that ALA may play a significant role in managing some cancers and erectile dysfunction.

How do we ‘get’ ALA?

Our body produces ALA naturally but only in small amounts.  Certain foods in our diet can increase our levels of ALA, including:

  • Red meats
  • Organ meats (liver, kidney, heart etc)
  • Broccoli
  • Beetroot
  • Spinach
  • Tomatoes
  • Brussel Sprouts
  • Potatoes
  • Green Peas
  • Rice Bran

Intravenous IV Drip

Whilst these are foods are easily accessible, supplements can offer up to 1,000 times more ALA than our body can acquire through diet.

It’s best to take ALA at least 30 minutes before food or drink, so first thing in the morning works well.

Another way to up your ALA levels quickly and effectively is to have an IV drip treatment. This allows ALA to go straight into your blood where it can be transported around the body. As it doesn’t have to navigate your digestive system, ALA supplementation that is absorbed this way will quickly reach your cells and will get to work.

Multivit Drip

Vitamins are necessary to maintain the proper course of biochemical processes and homeostasis of the body. They influence health, well-being and proper functioning of all systems and organs in the body. Vitamin deficiency is called “avitaminosis” and it is a condition that may ultimately lead to the development of serious diseases. For this reason, an adequate supply of vitamins is necessary to maintain health and vitality, and due to the fact that the human body cannot synthesize them on its own, they must be supplied from the outside.

Unfortunately, the absorption of vitamins from food, just like from supplements, is not always sufficient. This is influenced by the way meals are prepared, the “company” of other nutrients with which vitamins are delivered to the body, as well as some diseases that limit their absorption. The answer to this are intravenous infusions of vitamins, which are administered directly into the bloodstream, which guarantees their better absorption, higher effectiveness and a much faster therapeutic effect.

“MULTIVIT DRIP” is a complex of as many as 10 vitamins necessary for the proper functioning of the body. It can both treat existing deficiency symptoms and prevent their occurrence. Thanks to a multivitamin drip, it is also possible to avoid the development of some chronic diseases caused by long-term avitaminosis. Vitamins are delivered to the body in an appropriate way and under precisely defined conditions to avoid losses caused by light or temperature. The treatment itself lasts about 45-70 minutes.

Nutrients:

Vitamin A – is necessary for maintaining proper vision, and its deficiency leads to the development of the so-called “night blindness”; takes part in the production of erythrocytes and the synthesis of steroid hormones, accelerates wound healing processes, affects the appearance and condition of the skin, supports the body’s immunity, and determines proper embryonic development and fertility.

Vitamin D3 – i.e. “sunshine vitamin”, is necessary to maintain proper body immunity; is responsible for the proper structure and mineralization of bones and teeth, regulates the absorption of calcium and phosphorus, increases the number of muscle fibers and muscle strength, regulates blood pressure, stimulates insulin secretion in the pancreas and has a positive effect on the condition of the skin and hair.

Vitamin E – called “vitamin of youth” and “vitamin of fertility”; is a strong antioxidant, delays cell aging, has anti-inflammatory, anti-atherosclerotic and anti-cancer properties; improves the functioning of the body’s immunity, has a positive effect on the cardiovascular and reproductive systems and kidneys.

Vitamin C – has an antioxidant effect, protecting cells against oxidative stress and scavenging free radicals from the body; is necessary for the proper functioning of the immune system; takes part in the production of collagen, supports wound healing processes, affects the condition of bone and cartilage tissue, as well as gums, skin and blood vessels; reduces the feeling of fatigue and determines the process of iron absorption.

B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12) – necessary for the proper functioning of the central and peripheral nervous system; they have an impact on mental health, they also relieve nervous tension, improve well-being and increase intellectual abilities; have a positive effect on the condition of the skin, mucous membranes, hair and nails; they determine the proper functioning of muscles, the hematopoietic and cardiovascular systems.

Folic acid – called vitamin B9; is necessary for the proper development of the fetus, especially the neural tube, and also prevents miscarriages; it determines the functioning of the circulatory and nervous systems, takes part in the synthesis of neurotransmitters, and prevents the development of anemia, mental illnesses and cancer.

Glutathione IV Drip

Glutathione is produced in every cell and stored in the liver. As we age, glutathione levels decrease.

Factors causing glutathione loss are:

  • excessive stress
  • bad diet
  • drugs
  • medications (especially paracetamol!!!)
  • infections
  • injuries
  • chronic diseases
  • too little or too much physical activity
  • environment pollution
  • radiation
  • getting older

Glutathione is a substance used at the cellular level – primarily in the body’s defense. Glutathione deficiency leads to apoptosis (apoptosis – cells are eliminated, they occur when changes in the cell reach the so-called point of no return. After crossing this point, the cell must die.

It is the strongest antioxidant, detoxifier and immune system stimulator:

  • modifies the activity of lymphocytes in bacterial, viral and parasitic infections
  • affects the viability of erythrocytes
  • protects cells from damage by toxins
  • neutralizes pesticides
  • cleanses the body of heavy metals, herbicides and toxic components of tobacco smoke
  • is a factor of other antioxidants – it enables the proper functioning of vitamin. C and vit. E
  • takes part in the production of coenzymes, transport of amino acids and recycling of vitamins. C and vit. E
  • stabilizes lysosomal membranes
  • increases cell hydration
  • accelerates the reduction of fat tissue
  • lowers cortisol levels
  • increases the level of growth hormone
  • increases the level of glycogen in muscles
  • lowers the level of lactic acid
  • relieves symptoms of fatigue
  • affects intellectual abilities
  • alleviates the side effects of anticancer drugs (hair loss, nausea, vomiting)

Glutathione determines health and longevity and is recommended to every person who consciously takes care of themselves, especially if they are exposed to factors that increase its loss.

Without glutathione, cells would be subject to constant oxidation and destruction, and our resistance to bacterial and viral infections and the development of cancer cells would disappear. Each cell in the body is responsible for the production of glutathione itself and must have the necessary substrates for this. The demand for glutathione is always high because it is consumed under the influence of many stimuli.

Vitamin C IV Drip

Vitamin C, or ascorbic acid, is a substance necessary for the proper functioning of humans. It performs numerous functions in the body, and its deficiency may have serious consequences. People, unlike most animals and plants, cannot produce it on their own. That is why it is so important to provide the appropriate dose of vitamin C.

It is a chemical compound necessary for life:

  • regulates immunological processes
  • has anti-inflammatory properties
  • is a strong antioxidant
  • helps maintain proper function of blood vessels by influencing the endothelium
  • reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases
  • neutralizes carcinogenic substances
  • takes part in the production of bile acids and adrenal hormones
  • is a co-factor in the production of collagen
  • has an anti-aging effect on the skin
  • promotes wound healing
  • is a co-factor in the transformation of dopamine into noradrenaline, i.e. the system responsible for motivation and willingness to act
  • reduces the risk of neurodegenerative diseases
  • supports the fight against symptoms of depression, reduces the feeling of anxiety
  • has a positive effect on the processes of learning and remembering
  • protects against side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy

The body’s need for vitamin C depends on age, gender and physiological condition, e.g. it increases after intense physical exercise. It also increases in various pathological situations, e.g.:

  • during infection
  • with hypertension
  • in diabetics
  • in smokers and alcoholics

The body is unable to absorb too large doses of vitamin C administered orally at one time due to the so-called intestinal tolerance effect (diarrhea occurs at doses above 2 g). The larger the single dose administered orally, the worse its absorption.

Vitamin C supplementation is especially recommended:

  • after illnesses
  • in states of reduced immunity
  • under chronic stress
  • after increased physical exercise
  • in rheumatic diseases with chronic inflammation
